Was really looking forward to trying this place out. Didn’t see the possibility that I would be disappointed, it was perceived by me as a risk free enjoyment choice, and it lived up to that expectation. This is indeed a small venue, well described in... [more>]

This is my kind of goat house! It is a pleasant bare boarded pub, a large rectangle off the main road, divided into three areas by internal walls. Quiet on my visit around 7pm. On handpump were two from Volden (their session pale and, for the area, ... [more>]

The recent update from PSM perfectly describes the venue and its current configuration. Here a bit after 7.30pm and pretty deserted. Has a nice corner aspect with plenty of natural light and makeover adding to that. Interesting fluffy ceiling lights!... [more>]

Reviews below perfectly sum up this venue. Quiet on my visit with just seemingly a few locals in watching the Champions League SF second leg between Real M and B Munich. There are some outside benches on this corner busy road location populated by so... [more>]

Can’t add anything to the very full description from PSM below. Other than the fact that there is obviously no global sporting event on-going during my visit, this was a pleasant end of evening venue for me. Was surprised they didn’t have the Champio... [more>]

Solid Joules pub. The usual range of Joules ales on. I went for the Pure Blonde was fine. Plenty in watching the football. Worth a visit.

Fairly basic estate pub a short stroll out of town. Only Doom Bar on keg which was only OK. Loads of interesting stuff covering every inch of wall. Lots of Sex Pistols and rock stuff up. I liked it here. The service was friendly and the locals obviou... [more>]

Remains as was from my previous visit in 2017. Quite a relaxed Sunday atmosphere, with a couple doing a jigsaw in the front room. Still no OBB, so a pint of keg Dark Mild did for me which was pleasant. July 2017 Very impressive looking (half-timbere... [more>]

Side street micro, GBG listed. Space for 15 max downstairs, a proper local's vibe. There’s a room upstairs with pool, darts and free-to-play arcade machines - Streetfighter, Pac Man and Paperboy (incorrectly marked as Tekken II). Four pumps, Cloudwat... [more>]
