This pub has recently change hands and is now opening a restaurant on the 1st floor serving all the favourite pub grub and Sunday roast. Warm and friendly place for everyone to visit.

Long established gay-friendly pub at the other end of the strip of bars that starts at the Pineapple.
Caters more to the 'leather and tache' end of the spectrum.
Maybe the punters start as disco bunnies in the Pineapple but end up as moustachioed men by the time they make it to the Griffin.
You've got to love the building with it's tall brick frontage narrowing onto the junction of Trenchard Street with Colston Street.
