Middle of nowhere pub that had a separate dining area, characterful old boys in the bar. Mainly setup for dining.
Two cask on - I had a Pieces of Eight from Chatham based Nelson Brewery.
10 minute wait to be served. Lack of staff.... but friendly when they did arrive.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Horseshoe & Castle
Popular pub, despite despite being located in quite a small, remote village near the Thames estuary. The U-shaped layout remains divided into two parts; the bar to the left and a dining room on the right-hand side. Traditionally furnished and decorated throughout. Three handpumps can be found on the counter, dispensing Shepherd Neame's Master Brew, Trafalgar from Nelson Brewing (£3.90) and the local Longtail cider.
