This pub has just been taken over by a new landlord (20/06/08)and has been turned into a fine pub. Very friendly and always welcoming bar staff make's the visit worth while. The beer is cold and the price is normal, they have two pool tables and a dart board for the sports men out there and also a billiards table. This pub is now my new local and i could not be happier. (29/08/08). With refrence to the comment about the staff smoking in the pub that was the old landlord who had just found out he had lost the pub.
